Mission
In 2017 the legislature established SB 241, which provides for the establishment of the State Seal of STEM Program to recognize pupils who have attained a high level of proficiency in science, technology, engineering and mathematics; and for the establishment of the State Seal of STEAM Program to recognize pupils who have attained a high level of proficiency in science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics.
Objectives
The goal of the STEM/STEAM Seal Subcommittee is to develop an awareness plan, with accompanying materials, targeted at stakeholders.
