The Nevada STEM Framework describes the attribute of high-quality STEM schools. The Framework is used to evaluate schools which apply for the Governor STEM School Designation. It is also used by schools for self-evaluation, reflection, and strategic planning.

Regional STEM Network Grants
The Regional STEM Networks are pleased to announce the Spring 2026 grants are now accepting applications. With $300,000 available this round, applicants are encouraged to act quickly and think big.
Applications are due February 27, 2026 by 5pm.
The Regional STEM Network Grant is intended for ecosystem members who are seeking innovative ways to advance STEM pathways in their local region of Nevada. Projects should be collaborative, impactful, and aligned to the Regional STEM Network’s goals. Research, pilots, and tool development are encouraged.
A subsequent round of funding will open later this summer for State Fiscal Year 2027 (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027).
